The Tennessee Walking Horse Youth Association (TWHYA) is excited to announce the release of the final class sheet for the 8th Annual Summer Splash Horse Show, set for June 12, 2026, at Champions Arena on the Celebration Grounds in Shelbyville.

As the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, the Summer Splash plays a critical role in supporting TWHYA’s youth programs, helping provide educational opportunities, scholarships, and hands-on industry experiences for young horse enthusiasts.

The finalized class schedule includes two popular “Buy-A-Class” sponsorship opportunities, both of which have now been successfully claimed. These featured classes will include:

Class 2 – Amateur Model

Class 25 – Amateur Owned & Trained Pleasure Horses (shoe size not to exceed 3/8" x 3/4")

In addition, TWHYA has made an important update to the schedule after identifying an omission in the original release. The missing class has now been added as:

Class 25.1 – Amateur Two-Year-Old Stallions

Sponsors Still Needed

TWHYA continues to seek class and event sponsors to help make this year’s Summer Splash a success. Sponsorships directly support the association’s youth programs and provide valuable visibility for individuals and businesses within the Tennessee Walking Horse community.

Youth Job Shadowing Opportunity

In keeping with its mission to educate and engage young participants, TWHYA is also continuing its Youth Job Shadowing Program during the show. This unique experience allows youth members to go behind the scenes and learn what it takes to run a successful horse show.

Participants will have the chance to shadow key event personnel, including the Judge, Photographer, Show Manager, and other industry professionals. Each shadowing session will be one hour long, giving youth the opportunity to rotate through different roles and gain a well-rounded understanding of the event.
Interested youth are encouraged to register in advance and select their preferred time slot.
