Sugar Creek Fall Breeding Update
Wednesday, September 24, 2025
Sugar Creek Farm has announced that its fall breeding season will begin on October 1st, with the highly anticipated return of Four-Time World Grand Champion Justified Honors to the breeding lineup. This marks a historic moment for both the facility and the breed.
Earlier this year, Justified Honors underwent colic surgery, during which one testicle was removed. Out of caution, the stallion was withheld from breeding until he had fully recovered. Recent collections have been promising, and he will now rejoin the lineup on a limited basis.
At this time, no new breeding fees for Justified Honors will be offered to the public. The farm’s priority for the fall is fulfilling rebreeds for original contract holders only. In addition, no transported semen will be available this season; mares must be on the premises at Sugar Creek and prepared for breeding there to ensure the best outcomes.
Owners with an unfulfilled contract for Justified Honors are asked to call the Sugar Creek Farm office at 931-680-0897 to confirm rebreed status.
While there has been significant interest in new breeding contracts, Sugar Creek Farm has stated that once rebreeds are completed, they will announce any future offerings of new contracts for Justified Honors in December.
