FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA), in partnership with the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA), will host a meeting for Tennessee Walking Horse show managers on Saturday, February 14, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Embassy Suites in Franklin, Tennessee, in conjunction with the WHTA Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet.

TWHBEA and WHTA are pleased to announce that Bernadette Juarez, Deputy Administrator, Animal Care for the USDA/APHIS, has been added to the program and will participate in the meeting. Juarez will provide important updates and insight from the USDA as part of the discussion.

A complimentary luncheon will follow the meeting, and all show managers who host events that include Tennessee Walking Horses are invited to attend.

Horse shows are the foundation of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry, providing the stage on which breeders, owners, trainers, and exhibitors come together, while also supporting local communities and preserving the traditions and future of the breed. A demonstration of new entry software scheduled for adoption by many shows in 2026
