Obituary – Joe Brandon

Joe Barry Brandon, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Monday, May 1, 2023, at Maury County Regional Health Center.
Joe was born September, 17, 1941, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late George (Hap) and Mildred Kerr Brandon. He owned Joe B's Men's and Boys clothing store in Lewisburg for many years. He was involved in community development in Tennessee and retired as the Director of Existing Services for the Labor and Workforce Development division of the State of Tennessee. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg and served as an Elder Emeritus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon Jobe Brandon; two sons, Joey (Margo) Brandon of Cornersville, and Nathan (Amy) Brandon of Brentwood; four grandchildren, Nicole (Jayce) Pickle, Ben Brandon, Abby Brandon, and Anna Lynne Brandon; three great grandchildren, Colin Pickle, Morgan Elizabeth Pickle, and Tatum Pickle; one sister, Suzanne Porter of Camden, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Jobe; nieces, Lori (Shaun) DeWoody of Camden, Arkansas, and Patti McGilton of Monroe, Louisiana.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, TN 37091. Visitation will continue at First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg or to Hopetown, 402 N 2nd Ave, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
